Hear the Difference
01 - CORY - “MESS IT UP”
Tuning • Balance • Reverb Control
The artist’s demo had loose tuning, excessive reverb, harsh upper frequencies, and heavy compression that reduced the vocal’s impact.
For the finished mix, we refined the tuning, controlled the ambience and harshness, and created a clearer, more balanced vocal that sits confidently over the instrumental.
02 - PMX - “I’ll Be Here a While”
Clarity • Vocal Balance • Spatial Effects
In the original demo, the vocal was masked by the instrumental, lacked clarity, and had very little depth or movement.
We brought the lead vocal forward, improved its clarity, and added purposeful spatial effects to create more width, depth, and interest without sacrificing intelligibility.
03 - VIIZ - “MADE TO SHINE”
Tone • Body • Depth
The original vocal sounded thin and overly midrange-focused, with very little sense of space around the performance.
We added body, smoothed the honky midrange, and introduced controlled depth so the vocal felt fuller, more polished, and better integrated with the instrumental.
04 - SWAMPFACE - “ORIGIN STORY”
Dynamics • Presence • Vocal Placement
The original vocal levels were inconsistent, causing parts of the performance to become buried behind the instrumental.
We controlled the dynamics, brightened the vocal tone, and improved the overall balance to create a more consistent, present, and forward vocal.
05 - ALESSIO - “LO SCEMO”
Tuning • Depth • Low-Mid Control
The original vocal felt distant, needed tighter pitch correction, and had spatial effects creating excessive low-mid buildup.
I refined the tuning, cleaned up the boominess in the effects, and brought the vocal forward while preserving an appropriate sense of space.
